Indoor Golf  - Bristol

JOB TITLE: Front of House GOLF HOST (part-time) – 15/20 HOURS PER WEEK

inPlay Golf is an indoor golf facility where you can PLAY REAL GOLF INDOORS! We are based in Harbourside, Bristol (within walking distance of Bristol City Centre) and have one golf coaching simulator where our two Golf Coaching Professionals give lessons together with five additional golf simulators which can be hired for practice and play.

This role is to assist in the front of house hosting aspects of inPlay Golf providing an exceptional customer service to visitors, members & groups

PLEASE NOTE: The ability to play the game of golf to a good standard is essential (official golf handicap not required although the ability to play to a handicap level is required)

PART-TIME HOURS – 15-20 hours per week with additional hours available in busy periods and throughout the summer months. This role will include evening and weekend hours.

Duties will include:

•   To welcome visitors and members to inPlay Golf

•   Setting up customers on the simulators, explaining how the equipment works to individuals and groups and looking after them throughout their visit

•   Working closely with the other members of the inPlay Golf staff to promote the inPlay Golf brand and inPlay Golf products & services

•   Assisting in the serving of refreshments from the reception/bar and taking payment for simulators & other purchases

•   To adhere to inPlay Golf’s high standards, providing a friendly and welcoming service

 

 

Skills & knowledge required:

•   Excellent communication skills - you will need the ability to communicate at all levels both to the general public and the business community. This is very much a hosting role so the ability to interact comfortably with customers is essential.

•   Excellent customer service skills – experience in a previous customer service role is desirable

•   Confidence when dealing with people from all levels and speaking to groups

•   Presentable with an approachable & friendly manner

•   The ability to play golf to a good standard together with a comprehensive knowledge of  the game of golf (the ability to play to a handicap level is required)

•   IT literate

•   The ability to work unsupervised under your own initiative with a good level of maturity

•   A flexible & friendly attitude

   

Remuneration package: £7.70 per hour
